How to start an Ngo ?

There are 2 types of NGO in the non-profit sector, A Trust and a Society.

Now you can start a Trust with a minimum of 3 members and maximum of 21 members. For a National Level Trust, your one member must be from Delhi who must act either a s a settlor of your Trust or Founder or President. Rest all members can either be from Delhi or any other state of India.
To register a National Level Society you need minimum 7 members from 7 different states of India
In order to start a Society you need 7 different members from 7 different states of India. None of the member must be connected to each other by Blood that is they should not be relative or from same family. In this also you need one member from Delhi who must be holding a Delhi based Aadhar Card.
